about the design :
For the past few months, I have been amazed by the patterns formed by ferro fluids under the influence of a magnetic field. I have been trying to incorporate these patterns in my tattoos as well. This artwork is an amalgamation of these ferro fluid patterns and the Rorschach ink blot test.
As a kid, the patterns of the ink blot test always captured my attention. Through this artwork Iām trying to remember that kid. The repetitive nature of the patterns resemble the design of traditional clothings of many indigenous cultures. I have arranged the individual shapes to mimic the scales of a fish, just for fun. Though the patterns seem identical at the first glance, the central pattern of each scale is unique.
