whispers of the hunted heads

Through this project, I have attempted to explore the headhunting tribes of Borneo and Nagaland. I have explored the practice of ornamentation and preservation of human skulls in these tribes. Through ‘Whispers of the hunted heads’, I have attempted to study the visual patterns of these ornamentations and tried to recreate them through my conscience. Through this project, I attempt to create awareness about the existence of these tribes and the astounding history of human culture.
